Frequently Asked Questions

What data does Neurometer collect?

When contribution is enabled, the app transmits anonymous departure events consisting of a zone identifier and a timestamp. No device identifiers, user accounts, location history, or personal data is collected.

How do I disable contribution?

Open Settings and toggle "Contribute departure signals" off. The app continues to show pressure readings — contribution is optional and independent from reading. When contribution is off, no location access occurs and no data is transmitted.

How do I report a problem?

Email support@neurometer.app with a description of the issue. Include your device model and Android version if relevant.

Why does the display show no signal?

No signal means there are no contributing devices in your area. Readings require nearby contributors to generate departure data. This is the system working correctly — Neurometer prefers silence over guessing.
